Momster Opening Poem:
If you feel like you’re failing at, well, all of life,
like a terrible mother and an even worse wife,
like you love your child but just want to hide,
before the stress and anxiety eats you alive,
know there are many of us feeling this way,
trying to “do it all” and survive the day.
It’s all turned upside down and way out of place
so I’m sending a reminder to grant yourself grace.
We may feel like momsters but we’ll win this fight.
I promise, dear mama, you’re doing everything right.
