Little time, Big impact
It's out of order, unthinkable and profoundly unfair.
There is no greater grief than this, nor deeper despair.
There's a story of a couple, just me - just like you,
who lost one of their own well before their time was due.
One sobbed for the loss of future, a life unfulfilled.
The other wept with pride at the inspiration instilled.
The pain will never leave us but now we have choice -
to build awareness and bring hope... to give their life a voice.
Losing can renew purpose, makes us intentional, more kind.
Amazing the impact one can make when they have little time.
