It’s Okay…to not be Okay Opening Poem:
Listen, my friend, I’ve got something to say
it is perfectly perfect to not be okay
There’s no playbook around for these crazy times
shouting behind masks in the grocery store lines
No one prepared us for this or waved a wand
suddenly making us teachers and work-from-home moms
We’re all flying blind, doing the best that we can
because at this point, let’s face it, “it’s” hit the fan.
So whether you need a hug or a very stiff drink
just know that I’m with you and won’t let you sink.
